NEW BALANCE 574 TRANSPORT PACK

This is the New Balance Transport Pack. A triple pack of 574s with map detailing and embroidery on the heel of trucks, ships, & planes. I really like the blue & gray colorway with the gray sole but all three are extra nice in my opinion.

New single from 9th Wonder "Sunday"

In the spirit of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince's classic "Summertime," comes the new feal-good summer anthem from producer 9th Wonder "Sunday," feat Keisha Shontelle and Chaundon. Throw this on at the BBQ or block party and get shit started like grown folks do.
"Sunday" is the official lead single from 9th Wonder's long-awaited debut album "Dream Merchant Volume 2," dropping October 9th 2007 on 6 Hole/Hall of Justus. This epic masterpiece features Mos Def, Royce 5'9", Little Brother, Sean Price, Camp Lo, Memphis Bleek, Buckshot and many, many more!

I've never been a huge 9th wonder fan but this single definitely has that lazy summer afternoon vibe and I'm diggin' it.

Copperpot releases "WYLA?"

Copperpot has just released his latest CD "WYLA?" (short for what are you lookin' at?) on EV Productions.

This kid Copperpot has very quickly become one of my favorite producers. Solid production is guaranteed anytime you see that Copperpot is behind the boards. Check The EV Compilation, "Everything" and his collaboration with fellow chicago hip hop artist Longshot, "Issues."

You can buy the album and his other work at EV Productions online.

Atmosphere brings Sad Clown Bad Summer Vol 9

Sad Clown Bad Summer Vol 9, Accompanied by Piano is the latest release from Atmosphere. Designed specifically to whet our appetite for their 6th studio album, "When Life Gives You Lemons..." the Sad Clown EP features the track "Sunshine" that has been all over the net already as well as a few other gems. The bad dubs used to only be available at Atmosphere shows but Rhymesayers has released this one just because they love you little emo-hoppin' monsters so very much. I much prefer the track "Don't Forget" but I can see the summertime appeal of "Sunshine." Especially when Slug hits the same lyrics as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince from their seasonal classic "Summertime."

Brand New Rob Sonic on Def Jux

Rob Sonic is one of my favorite double threat artists (producer/emcee). He always brings a level of incisive, lyrically crystallized, cultural critique that I respect and admire and he always brings the massive, lush soundscapes for modern dystopiated 21st century cynics like me.
"Rock The Convoy" is the first single from his forthcoming sophomore Def Jux release, "Sabotage Gigante." He's gonna be on tour with Aesop Rock this Fall across the U.S. and hopefully he will catch a little shine from the combination. The more heads who hear Rob the better it will be for Rob and the heads as well.
