Young Widows have announced plans for a full US tour in support of the masterful
In and Out of Youth and Lightness, dropping April 12th, 2011 on
Temporary Residence Limited. Spanning a monstrous seven weeks, the trek finds the band originating with a hometown record release show preceding a three-week route across the east coast and Midwest, followed by an additional two-week run from the Pacific Northwest down the west coast (full dates below). Joining the band on all dates will be Australian labelmates

Over the past five years
Young Widows have exhibited a diehard work ethic with their relentless tour schedule, resulting in an awe-inspiring live show that is quickly becoming the stuff of legend. To say the band control the atmosphere of a room would be an understatement - utilizing their own lighting, dense grooves, and subsuming sonic textures the trio offer performances that are wholly captivating; easily distinguishable as "events" rather than just "shows". Exhibiting a well-tuned convergence of punk intensity, foreboding atmosphere, and highly confident execution, the nine mini-epics that comprise In and Out of Youth and Lightness will undoubtedly prove a prime canvas for some of the most raw, emotional shows of the year.
