Dinner At The Thompson's performing in Tampa June 2nd

Dinner At The Thompson's, the French-American duo of songstress Lucille Tee and producer/multi-instrumentalist Fablive, is excited to release "It All Began," the latest single from their forthcoming sophomore album, "Off The Grid," which will be released on May 17th via Earth At Work Records. The new single is a funk-fueled groove with a strong bass line and some quirky instrumental samples, including a mix of brass and muffled electric keys, that serve as the perfect compliment for the song's weaving tales of seedy underworld characters courtesy of Lucille's strong story-telling.

Complimenting the song, director Guillaume Cosson filmed the video as a sequence shot, an uninterrupted weaving of shots that streams its way throughout the video, pulling the viewer further in with each new development. And as impressive as the video is -- which is to say, very; YouTube's Music Page will be featuring the video this Friday -- the super catchy hook, driven by Lucille's infectious vocals, is just as memorable, making this latest single from Dinner At The Thompson's a true standout.

Dinner At The Thompson's Off The Grid will be released May 17th on Earth At Work Records via FatBeats Distribution.

YOUNG WIDOWS ANNOUNCE FULL US TOUR IN SUPPORT OF NEW ALBUM

NEW ALBUM COMING APRIL 12th ON TEMPORARY RESIDENCE LIMITED, SEVEN WEEK TOUR TO FOLLOW
In anticipation of the release of their third and most accomplished album, Louisville-based post-punk trio Young Widows have announced plans for a full US tour in support of the masterful In and Out of Youth and Lightness, dropping April 12th, 2011 on Temporary Residence Limited. Spanning a monstrous seven weeks, the trek finds the band originating with a hometown record release show preceding a three-week route across the east coast and Midwest, followed by an additional two-week run from the Pacific Northwest down the west coast (full dates below). Joining the band on all dates will be Australian labelmates My Disco.

Over the past five years Young Widows have exhibited a diehard work ethic with their relentless tour schedule, resulting in an awe-inspiring live show that is quickly becoming the stuff of legend. To say the band control the atmosphere of a room would be an understatement - utilizing their own lighting, dense grooves, and subsuming sonic textures the trio offer performances that are wholly captivating; easily distinguishable as "events" rather than just "shows". Exhibiting a well-tuned convergence of punk intensity, foreboding atmosphere, and highly confident execution, the nine mini-epics that comprise In and Out of Youth and Lightness will undoubtedly prove a prime canvas for some of the most raw, emotional shows of the year.
