Arguably the hardest working rap group in America, Atmosphere are announcing the final tour in support of their sixth studio album, "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold" on Rhymesayers Entertainment and the recent reissue of, "God Loves Ugly" .The last leg of the When God Gives You Ugly tour is set to include a number of festivals, including Lollapalooza, 10,000 Lakes, Outside Lands, and a headlining show at Red Rocks, CO, with Eyedea and Abilities, Aesop Rock, Murs and up-and-coming Minneapolis rockers, Attracted to Gods.

Atmosphere's sixth studio album "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold" debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200. Atmosphere "Sad Clown Bad Fall" 10

One of the first tracks that Kicks-n-Jams ever dropped on you little monsters was an Atmosphere, tour-only, track from "Sad Clown Bad Summer." And as an aside, lemme tell you I was really excited that it got about twenty downloads. For a new blogger i felt like that was a lot! haha!
Well Ant & Slug are back for the Fall with "Sad Clown Bad Fall." More limited release niceness from the Atmosphere boys for your listening enjoyment. Consider it an appetizer while they put the finishing touches on their 6th studio album, "When Life Gives You Lemons..." which is due early next year.

Usually these tracks are available ON TOUR and ONLINE ONLY...but, since Rhymesayers loves you so much they've made a version of the EP, available for download here!!!

Atmosphere brings Sad Clown Bad Summer Vol 9

Sad Clown Bad Summer Vol 9, Accompanied by Piano is the latest release from Atmosphere. Designed specifically to whet our appetite for their 6th studio album, "When Life Gives You Lemons..." the Sad Clown EP features the track "Sunshine" that has been all over the net already as well as a few other gems. The bad dubs used to only be available at Atmosphere shows but Rhymesayers has released this one just because they love you little emo-hoppin' monsters so very much. I much prefer the track "Don't Forget" but I can see the summertime appeal of "Sunshine." Especially when Slug hits the same lyrics as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince from their seasonal classic "Summertime."
